  47. I'm not much help on the Net/Mac configuration - the last time I did it was
  48. about 2 years ago.  I'm gonna have to get my Mac fixed, I guess...

  260. I'm not 100% sure about KaGold, but I use the pactor version of PkGold with
  261. my PK88, and my father has it for his PK232.  The software works fine on the
  262. PK88, but obviously the pactor options are not available (as with all the other
  263. multimode options).  I think Kenneth understands that.

  265. The main point to remember is that since Gold is a host mode package, it can only
  266. use the tnc commands that it has been programmed to recognise.  So the non-pactor
  267. version can't do pactor even if your tnc can (unless you set the parameters in
  268. direct terminal mode - not very user-friendly), but the pactor version will work
  269. fine on the non-pactor tnc.  Does that make sense?  I've confused myself :)
